ssh boxes that disappear when I log out

want to ssh to a host, land in a fresh container, break whatever I like, and have it gone when I close the session. keep almost building this and then not finishing it. theres kubernetes ways to get there but I dont want a cluster involved in something that should be sshd plus a container runtime.
