tracking volunteer hours without spreadsheets

40 volunteers, most of them not that comfortable with apps, and we need hours logged for our funders annual report. right now its a paper sheet by the door that someone types up, badly, in january. a phone number to text, or a tablet at the entrance with a list of names to tap. the reporting end matters more but the logging has to be near zero effort or it just wont happen.
