is it my wifi or is their service actually down

something stops loading and I spend 10 minutes restarting a router before finding out on a forum that its been down for an hour. their status page says all systems operational, as status pages do. want a small thing in the menu bar that checks my connection, their endpoint, and what other people are reporting right now, and tells me which of the three is broken.
