an api client that opens in under a second

postman takes longer to start than my editor, wants me to sign in, and syncs collections I never asked it to sync. im sending 4 requests to a server on localhost. tried a couple of the lighter ones, theyre better, but they drift the same way once they get popular enough to need a business model. maybe the answer is a file format and a small runner, so the requests live in the repo and the ui is disposable.
